昨天媒体刊登了《给生命第二个机会--杨伟光后援会》後，我们接到了很多电话。很多人都问：“我们可以做什么？我们要怎样帮杨伟光？”
这些电话都让我们很感动。
有一位妇女说她的丈夫以前也做错事、坐过牢。但是现在她的丈夫是好人，每天努力工作赚钱养家。她问，为什么不能给做错事的人一个机会？
有一位比较年长的妇女说看了杨伟光的新闻，她觉得很心痛。她不断的说：“你们一定要救杨伟光。他只是一个小孩子。”
有一位先生说他希望新加坡政府能赦免杨伟光，但是他担心我们的力量足够吗？杨伟光有希望吗？
我对他说，不做肯定没力量，但是如果有人愿意做，就一定有力量的。多一个人做，杨伟光就多一分希望。

Everyone tends to make mistake, but mistake can be classify into seriousness or mild case, will it affecting people at large or just personal effect.
Likewise of a young boy at aged 19 has been guilty of serious offence, his family, education background and personal friends in touch has to equally share a part of responsibility.
However, to penalise him to death might be lost of a young man for lost of opportunity to brain-wash and re-born of his altitude and habits. Nevertheless serious crime must be punished. Ignorance of laws does not mean can be acting above the laws.
